Choral Music

The Jackson Prep Choral Department offers many opportunities for a student to develop his/her talents and abilities.
Students learn choral techniques, theory, and performance skills, singing classical, and showchoir music. The department consists of three showchoirs. Reveillon is the award-winning high school showchoir, and Fusion and Glitz are junior high competitive showchoirs.  The showchoirs also perform as concert choirs. The showchoirs compete during  the second semester on the state, regional, and national levels.  Costumes and after school rehearsals are required for the showchoirs.

Prep also boasts a 7th grade choir, Patriot Singers, as well as Camerata. Choral students may also audition for honor choirs and individual solo competitions.
