Bass Fishing

Jackson Prep welcomes our new Bass Fishing Coach, Andrew Hulbert!

He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and is continuing his education at UMMC  in the Radiology. 
He has previously fished the B.A.S.S Opens Professional Trail as well as competed on the Ole Miss Bass Fishing Team where he served as the President and Vice President in his tenure.
He is ecstatic about the opportunity to develop young anglers right here in our community.

What do you need to bring to practice?
Fishing license (To get a fishing license please visit Bass Pro Shop or the Shell at Lake Harbor, the cost is $12)

The purpose of the Jackson Prep Outdoors Bas Fishing team is to serve as a home to students interested in getting involved in a sport club and to provide students with a unique opportunity to develop leadership, organizational and fiscal management skills in a fun and safe supportive learning environment in which participants can build a sense of community and experience in the desired field.

To provide opportunities to actively engage in programs and activities promoting an enhanced quality of life.
  • To provide opportunities for personal development through leadership, diversity, and teamwork.
  • Gaining knowledge and experience to aid in competition for years to come.
  • Obtain specific requirements necessary for many job resume’s and applications
  • Become more engaged with the community
The Program seeks to be the leader of its peer and aspirant schools and one of the top programs in the country in the areas of participation, student satisfaction and diverse offerings. Our sport club officers strives to teach leadership through risk-taking with guidance and aids in steps taken to become a successful angler.
